Just Relax

Just Relax is a beautiful, rustic self-catering flat sleeping up to four guests. It is situated in Port Alfred which lies on the banks of the Kowie River. The small town has long stretches of beach that extend for many miles.

The flat consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with bunk beds. The living area leads out onto a lovely patio with braai facilities, a garden and secure parking.

Port Alfred boasts a wonderfully temperate climate with rainfall during spring and autumn. This makes it an ideal water sports destination enhanced by the fact that the Kowie is navigable for 28 km upstream. The Kowie river flows into the Indian Ocean and divides the town in two, with the banks linked by a couple of bridges. There are boat cruises and various hiking trails available in the river region, which is rich in indigenous vegetation, fauna and bird life.

For those seeking dry land, there is always the Gary Player golf course at the Fish River Sun Hotel, just a 20-minute drive from Port Alfred and the neighbouring game reserves. Port Alfred has a few shopping centres, a cinema, restaurants and a marketplace.
