"Close to shops peaceful and brilliant biews"
"Great place, very relaxing and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay.Bit overpriced for what is available. Feels like the house is still being revamped.Otherwise great environment if you want to switch off from the rat race."
"Postives - We has a lovely, relaxing long weekend end and enjoyed being right on the water.Negatives - the house is looking jaded & needs some attention, all the bathroom & kitchen taps leak, which with the current water situation is not good, no cupboard doors on any of the bathroom or bedroom cupboards & had no communication from the owner re: anyone meeting us at the property on arrival, where to find the keys or what to do with the keys afterwards"
"I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Annamien for your hospitality and kindness. We felt at home from the moment we put our foot in the door. Spacious, neat and right on the river with a fantastic view. The bedrooms are equipped with heaters and lots of warm blankets especially for the cold evenings during winter time. We bought a lot of snoek and geelstert, therefore the chest freezer was a blessing and very much value added to the kitchen. We will definitely go again!!"
"Nobody there on arrival. Nobody there on leaving. Cell and landline not answered and message not returned. Left the key under a rock - hope they found it. House is adequate but needs a good handyman and some decent furniture.Beautiful view and right on the river/lagoon. Enjoyed our stay and fair value for money. Excellent restaurant - Russells 500 m away."
"On the plus side this house, which is large and clean, is right on the water and has it's own jetty, as described. Unfortunately the jetty is not accessible from the driveway, should you wish to launch a boat. The main door opens directly onto a steep descending fight of stairs and a steep ascending flight of stairs. Negotiating the stairs at night is difficult, as there is no light at the entrance. Construction in some bedrooms is incomplete, with raw concrete floors and partially constructed cupboards. The central living area is very sparsely furnished."
"Was a little bit disappointed when I saw the inside of the house. We made the best of it, but will not recommend to anybody else. Paid a lot of money, so we expect decent furniture. The braai in the house not a good idea, and outside no braai?"
