  "Geraldine was very friendly, she allowed for my pet. kitchen was sticky though and cupboards and utensil in the cupboard smell musty. but overall the place is very tranquil and peaceful. felt a bit awkward when we were asked to leave earliest as possible before 10am as we were suppose to check out at 11 as she had other guests coming in. even though the previous night we did say we will leave by 10am latest but the in morning we were asked to leave chop chop to cater for the cleaning and set up for the new guests. but overall it is a beautiful place and will probably go back."

  "My husband and I recently enjoyed 3 nights at Umzimkulu River Marina. We both really needed some serious R & R.That is exactly what we got. A beautiful piece of paradise just minutes away from Port Shepstone. It is so peaceful that you would think that you were out in the country. The hosts Geraldine and Brian are fantastic. The accommodation has all that you need."

  "From before I'd made coffee in morning there were dogs by windows arlready. Breakfast on stoep was dog beg. For youghurt? At braai I could not take my eyes off my meat. Dogs beg continually. Obviously they get spoilt by guests. Just not way I brought mine pooches up."

  "We had a nice time staying at the guest house. Communication was very good, we had a warm and friendly welcome and enjoyed the spacious house we stayed at. Unfortunately the weather was not playing along too well, would have liked to enjoy the big garden and sitting by the river for breakfast and dinner since the spaces provided looked very inviting and nice.<br/>Thanks for everything!"

  "What a magic place: our 5yr old lb was in Heaven. Between the 2 fabulous swings, the 5 very friendly dogs and then fishing off the boat...We didn't need to put on the telly once to entertain him or us!<div><br /><div>We were woken up every morning to the sound of the fish eagles and sipped our coffee (or had a picnic) on the swinging bench-chair right alongside the river and enjoyed the tranquility and natural beauty of the area.</div><div><br /></div><div>The accommodation was perfect: the kitchenette, while small and basic, was well equipped with everything we needed for self-catering.</div></div><div>The 2 double beds were very comfy and warm. Our LB actually chose to sleep upstairs which meant we slept in the 'lounge' area, but then we could then have our lights on and not disturb him once he fell asleep.</div><div>Brian and Geraldine, the hosts, were very friendly and informative about the area, giving us great restaurant tips (Jaxx is a must and the Fish shop at the 'waterfront' for lunch on the river). Brian introduced our LB to line fishing and took us out twice on his boat up the river, where we saw a turtle and the 'Fish Eagle restaurant'....Ask Brian to show you.</div><div>We'll definitely be back next year!</div>"
