The Jetty is perfectly situated on a 14 000 m2 piece of private land on the Mzimvubu River, surrounded by lush fruit trees in a completely natural setting, bringing one closer to nature. Wake up to the sounds of fish eagles or the endangered cape parrot and a morning breeze whispering through the trees. Watch the sun gleam on the river while you enjoy breakfast on the patio.
A lazy afternoon swim in our sparkling pool and a picnic under the shade of our century-old pecan nut trees is a sure favourite among our many regular patrons. Enjoy a spectacular sunset over Mount Sullivan while preparing your evening braai, or having sundowners at our bars patio.
The Jetty offers self-catering accommodation and all rooms have an en-suite bathroom, built-in cupboards, a fridge, kettle, dish cloths, a braai, as well as cutlery and crockery. Towels are not supplied. All rooms are serviced daily by our staff and a laundry service is available. There is a jetty, so please feel free to bring your boat along and cruise the mighty Mzimvubu River.
The self-catering and Semi Self-catering Units which can accommodate two to six guests in each. All units house a kitchenette, a two-plate stove and oven, a toaster, Tupperware, a breadboard, preparation knives, pyrex dishes, as well as pots and pans. Unit 3 and 4 sleeps two to three guests, Unit 5 sleeps two to four guests, Unit 6 sleeps two to six guests and Unit 7 sleeps up to two guests.
We also have three Fishermen Cottages on the property, each able to accommodate two guests. The three cottages each have braai facilities and share an ablution block.

"We loved the friendliness and caring attitude of the management and staff."
"Great setting, lovely space to sit out and view the River. But, the room was a bit cramped for any stay longer than a couple of nights."
"Lovely place and management, however: 1. the picture shown is not of the Jetty. Jetty only has 1 room facing river, all others face backyard.2. I had planned a trip around fishing on the river, however the river had no fish as confirmed by staff due to muddy water. We were bored as there was nothing to do on the resort. Trip to fishing spot on beach required a SUV/bakkie which we didn't have. 3. We wanted to book for 3 nights but we were forced to take a minimum of 5 nights 'due to in-season time', however resort worked on a nightly basis as confirmed with other visitors who used resort as overnight stop. 4. Managers dogs bothered us none stop. Their incessant barking if we didn't play fetch drove us nuts.5. Eating has to be done outside as there are no table in rooms. Fine except in rainy weather/ insects at night.6. TV screen is smaller than my laptop and is placed below ceiling. Both my wife and I couldn't see picture."
"Calm and peaceful!"
