The rooms can accommodate individual, couples or family occupancy. . It is also very close to the Bult where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants or take-aways. The guest house is situated on the northern side of Potchefstroom adjoining the Carletonville main road. We are merely an approximate 90-minute drive from Johannesburg and within easy reach of other facilities. We are also within walking distance of the most facilities on the Bult. 05 November 2017"The room and bedding was clean. The air conditioning did not work well at all and it was so hot in the room. Gerda's friendliness and the fantastic breakfast the next morning was great.<br/><br/><br/>Establishment's response:<br/><br/><br/>I am sorry that the airconditioning did not work. I immediately checked it and saw that it was set on heat instead of cool. When I changed the setting it was cool immediately. If you complained about it yesterday we could rectify it then and there. Sorry that you had to live with it during this very hot wheather in Potchefstroom. Hope to see you again. Gerda<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"

10 February 2016"My daughter and I stayed for a weekend and it was a most enjoyable experience. The linen is of high quality and clean and the unit is very neat with spacious cupboards. Gerda was very accommodating and gave us a larger room with a bath and shower at no extra cost. She also makes the best omelettes in town! Furthermore she was kind enough to transport me to where I had to catch my lift. This guesthouse is close to the university and its sportsfields and has good security."

01 January 2015"We spent four great days at On Golden Pond. Lovely position on the banks of the Mooi River in Potch. Very comfortable accommodation. Gerda and Connie gave us outstanding hospitality. Super little flat. Nice selection of DSTV channels. WiFi was very useful to keep an eye on the JSE. Excellent breakfasts. Gerda went out of her way to accommodate my wife's diet (for health reasons). Lovely lapa, chairs, table gazebo on the riverside. Excellent for relaxation, reading, bird-watching and relaxed talking! Connie even volunteered to braai for us on the river! We will be back."
