Guinea Fowl Lodge is located within the Guinea Fowl Valley Estate, a prestigious and secure residential area in Midrand, which is only five minutes away from Gallagher Estate, Midrand Conference Centre, the Pan-African Parliament, Grand Central Airport, the CBD and the Gautrain terminus. We are also only a short distance away from the main arterial motorways providing easy access to Sandton, Johannesburg, Centurion and Pretoria, as well as the East and West Rand.

The well-established garden, with its abundance of trees, invites you to a relaxing stroll or a moment of quietness as you watch the resident hoopoes gathering food for their young, take in the antics of the waterfowl on the dam, listen to the hauntingly beautiful chorus of the guinea fowl or experience the roar of lions only a hundred metres away at Lory Park Bird and Animal Sanctuary.

The main lodge today still retains the nucleus of the original farm house, with its large spacious rooms and various outdoor entertainment areas. The free-standing, self-catering cottages are private but still enable guests to enjoy the facilities of the main lodge, where they can enjoy breakfast on request or a sundowner at the in-house pub and experience the sounds of the African bush while viewing the resident birdlife and feathered visitors to the dams.

For the fit and healthy, Guinea Fowl Valley Estate offers a safe and secure environment for an approximately 3 km brisk walk or jog. For the more energetic, there is a gym nearby or take in a movie, a visit to the theatre or casino. Guinea Fowl Lodges central location makes it an ideal place to stay while exploring the magic of Gauteng or carrying out business in the area.
