"Felt very welcome. Pool a blessing. Quiet, peaceful night."
"Only stayed 1 night was very comfortable."
"Lots of space inside and outside, privacy, well appointed. Excellent service"
"Acacia Cottage is the best holiday accommodation we have ever had. The host, Di, is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The cottage is extremely comfy and very well equipped with anything you could ever need. Lovely fireplace in the lounge. Very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Very good value for money. Shall defiantly go back to stay longer next trip."
"Very nice and relaxing"
"Clean accommodation, obliging hostess"
"We were upgraded to the cottage (which we should have booked in the first place!). Amazing hostess, very upmarket accommodation. We wanted for nothing! Will definitely return!!"
"A lovely cottage tucked into the bottom part of this large property - away from everyone with views over the horses and open fields. The cottage is well fitted with all necessary amenities, and to-die-for rusks were supplied as well. Although away from the hustle and bustle, it is within walking distance and we had a lovely stroll back at night from the restaurant. I will anyday recommend them. Thanks."
"We (family of 5, kids 11,9,5) had a great time in Prince Albert. Staying at Acacia was just the best, we had space to run around t home and we could walk to town. Kids cycled around the block. The cottage is perfectly equipped for a family to eat at home and relax by the fire. Thank you Di and Marc, we hope to be back soon."
"The six of us (including two kids) had a wonderful two-night stay at Acacia Cottage. Di encouraged us to pick fresh tomatoes and basil, peaches and plums, which we slurped on the stoep while watching the fiery Karoo sunset. When it got hot the next day, the pool was a delightful relief. The cottage itself is beautifully done, very private from the main house, with high ceilings and lots of windows. The annex (extra two-person bedroom) is back at the main house, a very short walk away, but we opted to sleep on the futon in the cottage, which was perfectly comfortable for two adults. Thanks, Di, for a lovely, relaxing stay."
"What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is all anyone could want and our hosts so friendly and helpful. With the delightful town within walking distance this is a great place to stop. We only had one night, but wished we could have stayed longer"
"I wish my home was as great as Acacia Cottage! Comfortable, beautifully designed, well situated and a welcome - not only to the guesthouse, but to the town. We would happily live in Prince Albert if we could live in Di's cottage.Definitely the place to book and stay for more than a day - and try and be there on the Saturday for the market - charming!"
"We only had a short one-night stay at Acacia Cottage on route to Gamkaskloof. We were welcomed by a very friendly Di and lots of animals - dogs, cat, horse and geese. It almost feel as if you are on a farm, with the cottage tucked away from the main house. The stay was peaceful and very comfortable. Thanks Di!"
"Very friendly, very nice cottage,it s for more time a good adress"
"Loved our stay there. Pity it was only for one night. Charming cottage, clean, well stocked etc.- Delightful hostess Di. So peaceful. We definitely will return and recommend it."
