  • "Charming place"

    11 October 2014

"For every human in Prince Albert there are 10 000 mosquitoes, Bidhuisie has high ceilings so its impossible to kill the buggers, Most coils and plug in mosquito repellants out there are loaded with toxic chemicals, including the pesticide DEET, so plugging them in is not an option. A mosquito net is a must for this place before we return! <br>Having said that, the place was clean, neat, and the lady who oversees the place was a cut above the rest. Last tip - if you are planning to braai, ask around before you buy wors from a certain butchery. I was looking forward to my braai, but the wors could easily have been used as retreads."

  • "A very pleasant self catering cottage"

    16 January 2014

"This cottage, a converted prayer house, is quite close to town and is very well appointed with good facilities - 2 bedrooms - and plenty of cooking facilities. All very clean and comfortable."

  • "Peaceful"

"Very neat and well decorated. Heaters available in each room for the cold evenings. Within walking distance of all Prince Albert shops. Ideal place to "switch off" and feel like you have arrived in heaven."
