The Leccino Cottages, formally known as Cactus Blue Cottages are situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Prince Albert, which nestles at the boot of the awe-inspiring Swartberg Moutain range, a National Monument and part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
The two cottages are beautiful architecturally designed open-plan spaces, furnished with unique recycled pieces, each infused with its own character. There is a fusion between a retro-style and an eco-friendly perspective.
These two cottages offer a quiet peaceful space to breathe deeply and to unwind. Leccino is designed to accommodate three couples or a small family with older children, in two separate cottages that open onto the indigenous garden and small swimming pool. The larger cottage has two en-suite bedrooms, an extra bathroom, a study and main open-plan living area, that leads out to a bamboo covered area, a daybed, garden and pool. It also has a secluded private bougainvillea porch.
Both cottages offer a Fan in the bedrooms and living area, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, large open wood fireplace in the larger cottage and a wood burner in the smaller cottage, a braai/barbeque, a flat screen TV(no channels) and DVD player with a DVD library and secure off-street parking. One bundle of wood of wood is provided and additional firewood is available for sale. Guests are welcome to buy extra wood at the guest house or in town if desired.
The cottages can be serviced at an extra charge upon request.
These cottages are tucked away behind the Kredouw Fijnhuis, National Centre, opposite the historic Swartberg Hotel, and are within walking distance from many restaurants.
"Thank you ! Leccino is an excellent place to stay . Tranquil , beautiful and well equipped ."
"We loved, loved, loved Cactus Blue! From the friendliness & warm welcome Michelle received us with, the attention to detail like the lovely kitchen the lights and the special touches, like the olive oil and almonds we were spoiled with... We will most certainly recommend Cactus Blue to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Prince Albert!"
"We stayed over at Cactus Blue for two nights only, we wish it could of been for longer, it felt like a bit of Greece in the middle of Prince Albert."
"Fantastic venue. Very central and very relaxing."
"Initially a little sceptical with the location, but soon realised that the cottage is well situated in walking distance to most restaurants. A comfortable facility."
