The Koppie House is a charming farm-style house set in 1,5 hectares of grounds with fruit orchards and indigenous gardens on the edge of the historic Karoo town of Prince Albert. The simple house is ideal for an escape from the city where guests can relax and rejuvenate in the fresh country air. There are walks, tranquil cycle routes nearby and a cement farm dam where guests can cool off during the summer months.
The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and a full en-suite bathroom. There is a living room with divans, armchairs and a dining room table. There are kitchen facilities for self-catering and all linen is provided. The cottage is equipped with air-conditioning, heaters, fans and electric blankets. A small extra charge is levied for the use of the air-conditioning.
The grounds are home to five tortoises who visit seasonally, and two resident dogs. The property borders the koppies surrounding the town, and adjoins the road to the beautiful Weltevrede valley with great views and magnificent sunsets. It is 2 km from the turnoff to the renowned Swartberg Pass.
