African Dream

Our spacious, warm, friendly home, which overlooks Princes Grant's 6th fairway, dam and green, lives up to its name "African Dream", as it offers our guests a wonderfully different, luxurious African experience, which they will never forget.

African Dream is tastefully decorated in a rich African decor, with each of the, individually decorated, three bedrooms (three upstairs) and the downstairs family suite, (two side by side single beds and one queen-size sleeper couch suitable for two adults and two kids) complete with it's own private lounge, offering an en-suite bathroom, plus there is a private fully equipped upstairs luxury Annex / Cottage, that can sleep four people (one queen-size bed and one queen-sized sleeper couch suitable for four adults). All in all, the home can accommodate a maximum of 14 guests.

African Dream offers three accommodation options from which you may choose. These options are as follows:

The Entire Home - (sleeps 14 12 adults and 2 kids)
This includes both the Annex / Cottage and the Main House (see below).

The Main House (sleeps 10 8 adults and 2 kids)
It has 3 upstairs bedrooms and a downstairs family suite (all bedrooms en-suite). The main bedroom is open plan with a bath, shower, double basins and a toilet. All bedrooms have ceiling fans (Main bedroom has an air conditioner/heater as well), a TV and a DVD player plus tea and coffee facilities. Three bedrooms are situated upstairs and there is a separate family suite downstairs, complete with its own private lounge, 3/4 sized, leather sleeper couch and two TV's and two DVD players.

The kitchen / dinning room area is open plan with an island kitchen counter separating the two. There is also a lounge, a separate scullery area, and a laundry room. The house is further equipped with two TV's (one in lounge and one on verandah), a PVR DSTV machine, a DVD player in the lounge, an Ice Maker in the scullery, a mini Hi Fi in the dining room, a Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer in the laundry room, a charcoal braai, a large gas braai and a Cadac skottel braai. All bedrooms, the lounge and the kitchen / dining area are all fitted with candleholders and candles on the walls.

The Upstairs Semi-detached Annex / Cottage (sleeps 4)
It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper couch in the lounge. It can accommodate 2 adults. There is a separate bathroom, with shower, basin and toilet and a fully fitted kitchenette, complete with a single fridge / freezer, a two plate stove and a microwave. The separate lounge includes a TV, DVD Machine and mini HiFi. The lounge, dining area and bedroom are all fitted with overhead fans.

Our housekeeper "Lindie" will look after you and your family and ensure that the home is kept clean and tidy. She does not to prepare meals and works for from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Should you wish to hire her services over the weekend, or on public holidays, then this is by arrangement with her and she should be paid a minimum of R150 per day (plus tip, if deemed appropriate).
