We offer spacious air-conditioned accommodation with log beds and furniture of high quality with an ethnic African bush ambiance. Rich textures, colours and fabrics have been stylishly blended to reflect the moods of Africa.

All the rooms have open beam ceilings, ceiling fans, well-stocked honesty bars, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, irons/ironing boards, TVs with DStv, safes, wireless connectivity and en-suite bathrooms with large showers.

Roosfontein Bed and Breakfast and Conference Centre borders the Roosfontein Nature Reserve, offering a touch of Africa on the outskirts of Durban city. A lovely, landscaped, indigenous garden with pebble stone pathways, water features, rockeries and hammocks has been well planned and created by the owners, giving an ultimate experience of peace and tranquility. Well-marked and maintained hiking trails can be enjoyed by young and old.

We also offer a laundry service and a cosy patio pub offering a good list of wines, credit card facilities, a swimming pool and allocated smoking areas. Braai facilities, birdwatching, hikes, boma fires, hiking trails, binoculars and light snacks are available. There is a shuttle service available on request and we offer breakfast packs and a car washing service and are pet friendly.

Delicious homemade South African dinners can be enjoyed on the patio next to a log fire, or in our cosy dining room. "Place of luxury! The owner is very friendly and straight forward , which made us so comfortable. The room made me feel abroad ! As for the bath area , we could have just slept there and would have been content. Definitely a 5 star from me."

"I was met upon arrival and shown to my room, which i found to be clean and neat and had everything I would need. I was shown around the premises to the dining area and hiking trails. Absolutely stunning view. just the right place to unwind after a long day. Meals were great and the hospitality was excellent. I honestly cannot find anything to review negatively."
