Griffin's Estate Country Venue

We are fully prepared and geared to accommodate essential workers and business travelers during the Covid 19 period. With only 6 rooms, our service is completely personal. The rooms are individually furnished and fully serviced. Our en-suite bedrooms are crisp and comfortable with extra blankets, DSTV, hairdryer, coffee making facilities and ample luggage and cupboard space. We serve an extensive buffet breakfast in our Dining Room with a fire place. Lunch and special romantic dinners are available by prior arrangement. Rooms 1 to 4 is on the first floor with communal lounge and balcony. Room 5 and 6 is on the ground floor next to the swimming pool. Room 5 and 6 can accommodate a family of 4 as it has an inter-leading door. We are only 10 minutes from town, but at Griffins Estate you can experience country tranquility at its best! Griffins Estate is also close to the Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng Visitors Centre. Book now to avoid disappointment.

"Breakfast was amazing, and the venue for breakfast with the wood fire was wonderfulHost was very helpful and kind, trying to assist us where possible1. However, we did have electricity isssues2. For the price we paid, I would have expected an electrical blanket, microwave, and access to a small fridge3. We could not use the bath, as the water coming out, was very slow and dirty - we understand if an area has not worked for a long time, but my booking was 2 months in advance, and surely these things could have been seen to.Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience, with a kind and considerate host"

"Dis die tweede keer dat ons hier bly, en alles net eenvoudig wonderlik. Skoon en netjies en baie vriedelike mense. Die ontbyt is altyd heerlik, en hulle het selfs moeite gedoen vir my kind wat die vegan leefstyl volg. Ons soek nie eens ander verblyf wanneer ons Randfontein toe gaan nie."
