Victory Farm Cottages

Situated in the beautiful countryside of Richmond, less than 5 km from the center of the village, in the Midlands area of KwaZulu-Natal. Located less than 40 km from Pietermaritzburg on the main Transkei Cape route, and is 45 minutes from our nearest coastal resort which is Winklespruit beach.

These cottages are set on a secure small holding, in a valley amidst local farms. There are three large houses on the property. House three is a fully equipped self-catering family cottage. House two is a self-catering complex, this complex comprises eight different units, some inter-leading. Each double bedroom has its own main en-suite bathroom and most of the units have their own open-plan lounge and well-equipped kitchen areas. House one is in the process of being fully converted into Bed & Breakfast accommodation. There is an attached, self-catering one bedroom cottage.

Designed to make the most of its natural setting, this unique guest farm is set amongst spreading natural surroundings and lush green trees. Given this backdrop, the farm lends itself perfectly for ideal getaways and morning waking up to the sounds of chirping birds.

"We liked the fact that the owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. Everything we needed and more was available. One addition that would be useful is a table for eating. A signpost on the road would also help as we did a bit of back and forth to find it and the pin took us down a muddy dead-end path. If I am in Richmond I would definitely stay there again."

"I thought Coffee and tea was standard for overnight places??There was one rubbish bin for a two bedroom self catering unit??? The shower was shabby. The bed was comfortable, but the duvet, which was very nice was far too hot."
