Louis Schoeman & Jolanda De Kock are the proud owners of La Montange Bed and Breakfast and assisted by Veronica, manageress, welcomes their guests with warm hospitality and grace. La Montagne, French for "the mountain", boasts five spacious double en-suite bedrooms, each beautifully decorated and fitted with quality linen. The bedrooms are luxuriously styled and also air-conditioning. Enjoy a lovely breakfast on the verandah or in the family dining room, spend a lazy afternoon in the lovely garden, or enjoy a nap on the country patio overlooking the garden.Other alluring features of La Montagne include a charismatic dining area overlooked by the great old bookshelf, and two lounge areas where one can either catch up on some reading or enjoy the full range of DStv television channels. "Second time at La Montagne, unfortunately not as pleasant as the first time. No one to welcome you (seems to be a trend now with lockdown),door to main building very hard to open (when other guests come back late, you will be woken up..), bathroom tile grouting gone in many places, wi-fi issues, 7 rooms with max. 4 parking bays..On the good side remains quiet location, nice view from upstairs, and clean rooms."

"We stayed in a outside room. At 5.30 in the morning the sun came streaming through because the window above the door had no curtains. When I complained to the owner, he didn't take it seriously at all.<br/>Breakfast ok -- like most SA B&Bs we have to make do with a concoction called filter coffee, which is a far cry from real espresso coffee. And the juice -- over-sweetened factory packaged junk. This in a province that exports fresh fruit!"
