The safe play area with jungle gym and enclosed swimming pool also makes Oakhurst the ideal family getaway. Oakhurst offers three luxurious fully-equipped, air-conditioned self-catering units wihin a garden setting. One self-catering unit is designed to meet the special needs of the physically disabled. There are also five spacious rooms with bath and or shower in the guest house. Facilities in the rooms include air-conditioning, TV with OVHD and selected DStv, tea tray, fridge and electronic safe. Secure private parking is available on the property.

"Very nice apartment will well equipped kitchenette.Private braai on the porch and lovely pool area.Very clean, quiet and safe.The car can be parked right next to the apartment which is very practical for loading / unloading the luggage.Good place to stay when underway on the garden route."

"We enjoyed a great, relaxing 7 days at Oakhurst. A well kept, gorgeous and quiet lodge. Lynette was a very friendly and accommodating host. We stayed in 3 different rooms since we extended our stay...all neat and tidy, but if there's one tiny complaint it would be the weak shower pressure/head in the smaller self catering unit."
