Marianne's B&B offers a home-away-from-home, a place where you can put your feet up while you prepare for that important meeting, wait for a loved one to come out of hospital, dig into some research, or relax while you visit Pretoria for whatever reason.
Your special dietary needs, such as gluten-free, Halaal and low GI, can be accommodated in our delicious meals and if you would like to experience the skills of one of SA's finest chef's, we offer special packages that include meals at La Pentola.
We offer a 100% wheelchair-friendly environment, and one of our bedrooms is specially fitted for those with physical challenges.
"The establishment is ideally located near the medical campus of the University of Pretoria and the Steve Biko hospital. Maybe consider putting in TV's in the rooms? Friendly and accommodating owner. Recommended."
"The only thing I lack was a TV in my room ...Can they consider TV'S in their rooms ."
"Much to be improved, however, the host was very friendly and helpful."
"A group of 6 of us spent three days using the 'conference' room at Marianne's B&B for a writing retreat. It was the perfect venue - quiet, organised, and delicious snacks and lunch! Everything was ready when and where we needed it and everything was taken care of with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. It was really such a pleasure being there and we can't wait to come back!<br />"
"My stay was pleasant, the food superb!"
"Marianne and family do a great job of making you feel welcome in Pretoria. They go above and beyond to keep the B&B a friendly and welcoming place. It's very clean, secure, and has a great location. It's affordable for all travelers and a great place if you need longer term accommodation. I would recommended this place to anyone staying in Pretoria or passing through Johannesburg."
"Still waiting for my receipt which would have been sent online. The breakfast included milk that was not fresh and fruit juice that was opened the previous day (hopefully) and yoghurt that was also openened and the jar half. Not to be recommended for the more sophisticated traveller."
"Stayed overnight in order to be close to Steve Biko hospital (very very close and easy to get to). Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Very good breakfast. Hostess(es) extremely friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. Recommended."
