Barry House on Riverton is a 4 star self-catering farm house, ideal for a large group of family or friends. It has six bedrooms and five bathrooms that can accommodate 8 adults and 4 children. An additional 2 children can be accommodated sharing with their parents in two of the rooms. (Note: when requesting a quote just enter the children as adults as well - the quote is for the house irrespective of the number of adults and children up to a maximum total of 14) Unlimited WiFi and wood for the fireplaces in the dining room, family room and the outdoor barbecue are included, while housekeeping is available as an optional extra. The spacious Barry House TV lounge comes equipped with the full bouquet of DSTV channels (no need to bring your own card), an air conditioner, an iPod/iPhone docking station, DVD & video players, a card table and also has table tennis. The bedrooms also have solar lanterns and besides an electric oven and microwave there is a Smeg gas oven & hob in the kitchen in the event of load-shedding.

Barry House on Riverton is situated on Riverton Stud and Wine Farm and is the lovingly restored original manor house. Relax on the long veranda and drink in the magnificent views of the horse paddocks and vineyards with the majestic Langeberg mountains in the background. The farm runs along the Breede River for a spot of fishing and is in close proximity to the top wine estates in the area. The 18-hole Robertson Golf Course is less than ten minutes' drive away, as is Robertson with its many fine restaurants and take away outlets.Note: NO PETS ALLOWED

"I love introducing my friends to this place ! Whatever, the season there's plenty to do whether it's swimming in the river, relaxing on the stoep or keeping warm & cosy in front of the big fire. And it's the perfect location to visit a few wine-farms! Wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, a well-kitted out Games room, mind-boggling dining-room.........I hope to be back again soon!"

"Your accommodation is old worldly stunning and comfortable, the surroundings and views are exquisite. We spent our time around the fire places, laughing, watching sport, playing games and soaking in the farm atmosphere. It was great to meet Duncan who grew up on the farm and read up about the farm history in various literature around the house. The manor house has the most stunning personal touches in each bedroom making it feel extra luxurious. Thank you for a delightful stay. We will most definitely be back!"
