  "We loved the little cottage. The beds were very comfortable - everything was just right for us. We enjoyed exploring the various walks to the many dams on the farm. Our hike into the kloof up to the bubbling mini waterfalls was a highlight for us. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back."

  "Excellent - our host and the dogs greed us very friendly, the house where very neat and there is everything in you need. We where e a group of friends and the house work out excellent for us. It is one of those places that you can walk, rest, take photos and just enjoy nature and quietness. The only suggestion that the 2 sleeper house maybe get a double bed."

  "This is our 3rd time visiting the cottages for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city; and once again the owners exceeded our expectations.The cottages are clean, warm and perfect for couples or families. You can even buy wood at a cheap price from the office for braais.I can't wait to return again.Thanks to the owners!"

  "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was available. Well kept, neat and tidy. Shower (hot water) was problematic in that the hot water would "come and go" all the time which was annoying while trying to shower."

  "Ons het n asem rowende tyd gehad. As jy wil weg kom van die stad en net rustig wil wees, dan is de hoop die plek. Die Huisies is uitstekend uit gele. Mooi, skoon en net lekker. Die binne braai en buite braai, is uit stekend. Binne vir die koue aande, en buite vir daai warm dae. en die om gewing is pragtig. Regtig waarde vir jou geld, ek sal defnitief weer kom kuier op De Hoop. Bak Gat."

  "We had a wonderful stay. It was our anniversary weekend and the setting and surrounds were ideal for that quiet together-time that we don't usually get in the busy city. The cottages are very neat and well kept and snugly nestled among the trees on the farm. We will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants that breakaway weekend."

  "This is a lovely setting on a quiet farm. The accommodation was basic but fine. The entertainment was great with three lovely farm dams, tubes and more. The cottage needs shade badly as it has full-day exposure to the sun, but the owner has plans to build a cover for the terrace. It was nice to be relatively close to Robertson, which offers good restaurants and shopping options, wine tasting and Breede River access."

  "The cottage was not luxurious on it own, but had everything I needed. It is beautifully positioned amongst the mountains. It is only a few kilometers away from Robertson, but still feels like another world - just wonderful with all the dams. It was great that I could take my dog with me. I will visit De Hoop Cottages again."

  "We stayed in Adam se huis. Very quiet and peaceful This is just the type of tranquillity that one needs and gets whenever a road ends at the foot of the mountain. Although there is a small portion of dirt and track road, you do not even notice it.Facilities were rustic, spotless and excellent. I asked for extra pillow, no problem.   "The cottages are new and cleaning up the surrounds is still in progress. However for what we required they were clean and had everything we needed for the evening. Gas hot water system works like a dream. The view from the cottages is superb. Access to town is good.A few simple add ons to the cottage would enhance them even more,stays for the doors leading onto the deck, paint the cement floors, vanish the internal doors, plant indigenous ground cover around the cottages."
