Silver Cloud Lodge

Silver Cloud Lodge is situated within an hour drive from Bela Bela and offers 10 lovely self-catering Chalets in beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy a drink at the ladies bar which has a TV with full DStv, or enjoy meals in the restaurant under the stars. A swimming pool is available and a variety of wildlife will be seen on your stay.

Each Chalet has two bedrooms that are furnished with a double bed and two single beds with en-suite bathrooms. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own swimming towels. Each kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, two-plate oven and stove as well as utensils, cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided. Guests can enjoy a beautiful African sunset on their private patios while making use of the braai area. The Chalets can be fully serviced or self-catering units, and some overlook the waterhole.

A state-of-the-art conference room is available and fully equipped to accommodate up to 40 delegates. Set in the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful bushveld, Silver Cloud Lodge is the ideal venue to have your memorable day. The reception can be hosted in the restaurant or boma, and both are able to accommodate up to 80 people.

Guests can take a drive to Bela Bela and relax in the warm baths. Guests can play a round of golf at the Elements or Zebula Golf Course, or visit various reserves in the area, go on an adventure with Elephants, visit an authentic Pedi Cultural Village at Entabeni Safari Conservancy, or go hiking and biking.

Kindly note that there is a 23km dirt road to the lodge.

"2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom en-suite advertised on this site - that is not the case at all. All chalets have a double bed at the bottom and 2 bunk beds in the loft. If anyone in the loft moves, everyone else is awake. We had a power failure from 10.30pm - 10.30am with no torches or candles in any of the rooms so going to the toilet in the middle of the night was virtually impossible. Power failures are a reality in SA but the way the staff at the lodge handled this issue was completely unacceptable. They were rude and hostile! Certainly will not be returning - oh and brace yourself for the 30km dirt road that is also not mentioned anywhere."
