"The service from management and staff was excellent. Their hospitality and personal attention left us relaxed and comfortable. The location is superb and the spatial layout of the rooms, pool and lounge/bar area etc make for very easy getting about and the views are beautiful. What we liked best was how well we were treated. Some furnishing is ageing but everything is functional, clean and comfortable."

"Our stay at Isibindi was brilliant with the only disappointment being that we did not book for longer! The trip to Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift was well worth it and the Zulu Boma dinner was fantastic! We will be back!"

"The hospitality at Isibindi is superb. You are made to feel very welcome by all the staff and Darryn and Candy are very genuine. The food is excellent and plentiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Lovely secluded rooms make this feel like a place you can really 'escape' and unwind. We loved our stay"

  • "Highly recommended"

"Lodge is well run by Daryn and Candy. Rooms were comfortable with wonderful views. Food was very good, both the traditional Zulu food which was served under the stars after Zulu dancing, and the food cooked by Daryn. The Battlefields tour and the Zulu cultural experience, both run by Michael Nel, were exceptional. Both were unusual, very enjoyable and highly recommended.."

"Our stay was fantastic, Candy, Darren and their staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. The place was completely without fault, we would recommend it to anyone, and won't hesitate to return for a longer stay next time.Foy's Battlefield tour was extremely informative and entertaining, we found him the perfect host, and the Zulu evening was great in spite of a thunderstorm. All in all, possibly the best 'stay' we've had in 42 countries!!!A big Thank You to everyone. "Christie and Brian were excellent hosts and their staff were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days we spent there. Saw plenty of game, ate and drank well, a perfect base to see the battlefields of Rourke's Drift and Isandhlwana and were completely happy. Also enjoyed the dancing by the local Zulu school children. Thanks also to Zama for interpreting and Steve (student ranger) for added info."
