  "was disapointed a bit when we got there we discovered that the pool was dirty and the jaquizi for the main house was not there and the boma was not fuctional as well,at some point the new owner was around we complained and asked him why were we not warned about the reservations in time so we could pospone if we felt we neened to.he apologised but all in all we had an awesome weekend.the road needs to be fixed from the main road to the place.some sort of home theatre would be proper and a flat screen.a complementary gift basket.and friends that i was travelling with felt that after not being warned about the renovations a dicount must be given.and friends that i was travelling with felt that after not being warned about the renovations a dicount must be given<br />"

  "No reception, no security. Not a family getaway if you have children. This is a good place if you are looking for a place to cook, refresh and sleep, a base camp before going out though."

  "We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. The private jacuzzi was not working at the six sleeper chalet we booked. We were only informed of this when we got there. I was told that the jacuzzi would get fixed but this was never done. Housekeeping was poor - our beds were not made completely. pillows and towels lying everywhere. The kids play area is rundown and falling apart. Very unsafe for my little toddler. Sleeper couch in the lounge needs to be replaced."

  "our stay at the estate was not the best at all. firstly we arrived very late because we kept getting lost, when we called the lady (Melanie) she seemed irritated, and told us she didn't know we hadn't checked in, which was surprising to us, anyway we finally found the place, when we got there, no one from the estate came to check on us, just to see if we checked in properly or settled in okay. we never saw anyone from the estate, we left without seeing or speaking to anyone. I don't think that a proper way of running guesthouse/place. also, our place was never cleaned during our stay, our bedding was not changed. upon our enquiry, we had requested a 10 sleeper, but to our surprise, the place only accommodated 9 people, this was too very disappointing..."

  "We booked the whole estate out for a 30th and it was absolutely perfect! The accommodation was clean and simple. The entertainment area was wonderful - nice big boma and thatch lapa area. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for any kind of big event."

  "I was a bit apprehensive while travelling on the dirt road (just off the R101). At night, its quite scary. But when we got to La Campagna Olive Estate, my fears were erased. The place is lovely. Our rondavel ( The Fleshy Olive) was more than what I expected. Its modern, yet cozy. The privacy is what I wanted. No staff roaming around. This place gave me one of the perfect weekends away from Gauteng. The staff's reception was very warm & welcoming."
