  • "Cave experience"

    04 July 2022

"The property chalets are extremely cold, felt like a cave. It's old built and really need renovations . The Bathroom shower head very tiny water comes out very slow. The Bed very old and uncomfortable. There was loadshedding but the property must invest in a generator. Or have fire place inside the chalets. It was really an uncomfortable experience . It was not value for money spent"

  • "Bush Babies visited us at our camp site"

    05 April 2021

"Overall, being a brand new campsite, well done to the new owners. They are doing a fantastic job establishing a 1st class camp site. Well done to them also for being on site and visible and willing to help with any problems."

  • "Taking a walk in bush"

    12 November 2018

"Loved the place. ...... makes sure all the activities in the advert are available"

  • "nokeng eco lodge - stay away"

    25 June 2018

"Nokeng Eco Lodge was a total disappointment. After seeing the chalet, we decided to cancel our reservation. Maintenance was not high on their priority list as cupboards were either broken or locked with screws. Inside the chalet, there are plenty of spider webs under the coaches and wasp nests in the room . The kitchen top is loose and a safety risk. The braai area consits only of a braai, with the most discraceful dirty braai grid and to top it all of, no outside furniture as advertised. Will not recommend a stay over."

  • "Die stilte en regtig niks.........................."

    14 May 2018

"Die webblad se inligting is totaal misleidend. Geen chalet is op standaard en alles in werkende toestand nie, alhoewel daar aan ons ges is dat van die chalets reeds opgeknap is. Bedliggies het of nie gloeilampe is of geen muurprop aan. Gaan kyk wat daar aangaan asb.Volgens die webtuiste klink dit wonderlik met 'n restaurant en selfs etes na jou chalet..............daar is NIKS."

  • "PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE GOING"

    06 December 2017

"Me, my husband and 3 kids went to Nokeng Eco Lodge in April 2017....I did not read the reviews, when we came back, I read the reviews and realised we were also lied to by the owners. The restaurant was burned down, the last time there was anybody checking the chalets was about 2 years ago.....will never ever going there again..."

  • "QUIET GETAWAY"

    21 August 2017

"It was as quiet getaway which we enjoyed a lot. The curtains could be updated and the unit just needs a little care and touch up, but otherwise it was really great and we really enjoyed it"

  • "Game drive in Dinokeng"

    17 July 2017

"Our chalet was way below the standard I expected as advertised by the website of the facility. There was nowhere to sit and relax. Couch was dirty, 1 of 3 chairs was broken. Outside wire furniture had no cushions."

  • "Disappointing"

    02 June 2017

"The main building / restaurant has burnt down, so there isn't much going on. We were the only people camping there. Some other issues like leaky plumbing. The place has potential but needs lot of expenditure."

  • "disappointed"

    22 March 2014

"Turn -off is second one after the Elands River - not the first.Minimal info available re the walks available and nothing on the birds/animals resident there.Larval ticks a major problem on the walks- we each had 100+ attached larvae after a morning walk. Take along something like Bayticol aerosol to spray clothes before walking.Pathways along the river could be cleared with a weed-eater as are overgrown in places.Mosquitoes a problem- take along appropriate measures.Water to Blinkblaar was a problem with very limited periods of hot water and often no water at all. Chalet was fairly "Rustic" but comfortable.Place is not "eco" as piles of builders rubble dumped in various places and no recycling obvious for waste disposal from the chalet.Main pool area is great but needs cleaning up in the area.Gavin JHB"

  • "Nokeng eco lodge"

    26 November 2013

"thank you to the staff at Nokeng Eco lodge for the friendly service...we had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Nokeng.Thank you we enjoyed our stay."

  • "November 2013"

    25 November 2013

"Loads of potential but badly managed and very poorly maintained. Also not fitting the image of an "Eco" lodge... Lots of rubbish lying around in the bush around the accommodation as well as all along the pathways. All in all, pretty disappinting considering the expectations created by the website and definitely not good value for money.Stephen Erasmus"
