  • "The wedding ceremony that we attended at another venue was the highlight.."

    30 December 2019

"The mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. If you lie on it your body punches right through. Lighting in the in the room is poor. Directions to the guest farm fall short - only via the N4, needs to be given via the R24 ass well."

  • "The beautiful plants and peace and tranquillity of the farm atmosphere during the daytime"

    23 July 2018

"Generally stay was enjoyable. The interior of rondawel is not as displayed om website. Linen gray and not white. Only mattress cover, duvet and blanket. No top sheet.Self catering with no warning on website that there are no cooking/eating utilities. Rondawel had a microwave and kettle with 2 mugs only. No glasses, plates etc. No facility to do dishes or cook inside it. On enquiry informed that gas plates inside pub restaurant may be used and that we may ask for anything else we may need.Neat braai area outside rondawel. The beautiful plants and peace and tranquillity of the farm atmosphere during the daytime was recommendable. If someone likes loud music at night and a pub opposite your rondawel (which we don't like)-this is the place for you. There was also a constant " glug-glug-glug " sound coming from the drain pipes through the drainage holes when a person from neighbouring rondawels opened their taps.Overall as I am not too fussy, I enjoyed my stay and enjoyed walking /hiking on premises and saw beautiful birds."

  • "Going home"

    22 March 2018

"The pictures posted on the website is misleading and not at all what was expected. The owner was not even there to greet us. Very dissapointed and will not recommend it to anyone. Not even worth 1star."

  • "Die rustige atmosfeer!"

    14 November 2017

"Die plek is mooi skoon en netjies en rustig. Ons was in 'n 4 bed chalet, maar ons het geen koppies gehad om uit koffie te drink nie. Die bed het baie geraas wanneer jy daarop l en omdraai. Maar verder was dit fantasties. Die personeel is baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Baie dankie."

  • "Quitness"

    27 August 2017

"Complimentary coffee/tea/sugar/milk and towels as specified on safari"

  • "Smelly Berg"

    17 April 2017

"The place was not suitable for human habitation. We couldn't even stay for 10 minutes. It's like a pigsty. Smelly and completely different from what we saw on the Safari.com website. My wife and kids were traumatised by what they saw from the gate on our arrival. Place looks like a deserted bush house. We left left immediately and looked for another place. Without surprise, the owners did not even bother to call and find out why we left the place."

  • "Had a good vacation @ Bietjie Berg"

    14 March 2017

"Really nice location, calm and relaxed. Nice and helpful people. Also good location to stay with children"

  • "Disappointed"

    21 November 2016

"Upon arrival the office was locked, had to look for someone in the bar to attend to our arrival. Their website misleading as there were no towels on the bed as they show in the photos. Room very dark, no private braai outside the room as they advertise. We wanted to arrange breakfast the next morning, but before we could ask; the lady informed us that they will be leaving for church at 07h45 and we must just leave the keys inside the room if we leave."

  • "weekend well spent"

    07 March 2016

"The rooms are nice and big enough. The garden is also big for braii and relaxing. Nice farm view and hoses. There was no TV and there was ants everywhere ."

  • "What and awesome experience"

    27 March 2014

"We spent 3 nights at Bietjie Berg and loved every minute of it. Karen and Rista make you feel part of the family. As Bietjie Berg is close to Rustenburg you can go to the Mall for an outing and then return to the tranquility of the bush at Bietjie Berg. The meals were awesome, typical home cooked food. We will definitely be returning!!!"
