  • "Wonderful getaway at Bananien Lodge"

    17 July 2017

"Just got home from a wonderful three night getaway at Bananien Lodge. The lodge was warm, clean, cosy and centrally located which made it easy to do day trips to all the wonderful natural attractions. We loved the fact that the cell phone signal wasn't great and that there was no TV as we bonded as a family with our two teenage girls. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Well located"

    10 March 2010

"The place is very well located in a green park with a lot of space and the lodges are also comfortable. We were a little bit disappointed that the pool was not clean. After a long day on the road we expected to relax in the fresh water."

  • "More than the eye beholds"

    09 January 2010

"We were welcomed and well accommodated at Bananien. The setting is lovely and the nature amazing. The units themselves are tired and in need of an upgrade. The kitchen is tiny ! That said, the atmosphere is great and we enjoyed our stay."

  • "Bananien Lodge"

    18 December 2008

"We where there for the annual Sabie Experience. So our stay was about getting up at 5am out by 6am and only back at 4pm eat, out for the race briefing and back to sleep at 9pm. Not quite the holiday fib we where going for. All we ask is for quite clean space where we can make food and sleep and the what is gr8 of the other places like Mary Pebbles is that they have a place to wash the bikes after each day. As maintenance is very important this is a nice feature that we did not have. Over all we where happy with what we got."

  • "Wonderful"

  • "Beautiful!"

    11 February 2007

"The lodges are in the most beautiful surroundings, well hidden from the road - which made finding it fun! The cabins are well decorated with very comfy beds. We arrived way too early, and Maggie let us stay and use the pool until our rooms were ready, which was so nice. There is so much to see in the surrounding areas, and this made for a great base. For our first 2 nights in South Afirca -this lovely accommodation set the standard for everywhere else to meet. Will definitely stay here again when we come to SA next."

  • "Feedback on Bababien Lodge"

    25 September 2006

"Brilliant lodge - well equipped. Will definitely go back at every opportunity. Beautiful setting and garden. Little touches like the Steiner Services hygene products were excellent. Comfortable beds - we loved it!"
