Greg and family offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning Sabie Gorge.
Many of the guests who have stayed at the townhouse have commented on the uniqueness of the home and that photographs on the website do not do it justice.
From the verandah you can view the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, the occasional fish eagle calling, pretty little sunbirds flitting from flower to flower sipping nectar, and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by or you may like to take a short stroll with a bottle of chilled wine across open bushveld at sunset to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below.
There are spacious rooms to offer guests a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome as there are family suites available. There are also wheel chair friendly and pet friendly rooms (by arrangement). Special rates for larger groups are available.
Breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool.We offer warm and friendly hospitality a home away from home.

"The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. While there was an initial hiccup with the readiness of our room when we arrived, the team there handled it professionally and made us comfortable while we waited for them to finish. The room and all facilities were fantastic, especially the jacuzzi. We will definitely be returning!"

"We had an amazing stay. Everything is wheelchair friendly. Great breakfast and good facilities. Thank you"
"We had a short but great stay. The Sabie Townhouse is a very secured guest house, ideally located for doing the panorama route and moving on to Kruger Park. The garden, swimming pool and pool-house/bar were exotic and had an inviting, feel-at-home atmosphere. Very good price-quality balance and friendly staff. The Lion Room was perfect for our family of 5, however the bathrooms could do with a small refurbishment."
"Absolute friendly and helpful hosts. Spacious and well-equipped room. It is an absolute insider tip for Sabie."
"This was a lovely spot to stay and break up the drive between Joburg and Kruger National Park. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and the owner is kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this location to others."

"Very busy weekend, fully booked at Sabie Townhouse and Kate was absolutely wonderful. Running around, attending to everyone's needs and making sure we were all taken care off, morning, noon and night, in the bad and good weather. Highly recommended."
"If you get the chance you should definitely stop off at the sabie townhouse - warm and friendly hosts and superb accommodation."
"We stayed for two nights at the Sabie Townhouse at the large (Zebra) room and had a great time. The room is absolutely beautiful and everyone were so nice, highly recommended!"
"We stayed for three nights in the Sabie Townhouse. We enjoyed the very personal, kind and caring atmosphere our hosts Murray and Irene offered us. The breakfast box Irene made for us for our trip to the Kruger Park, was so full that we had enough for the whole day. If we ever come back to Sabie, we'll surely visit the Sabie Townhouse again. Thanks for contributing to beautiful memories of SA."
"Accommodation was great. Meals and hospitality wonderful! We will not hesitate to return!"
"We went down to enjoy a biking weekend, and this place was just awesome. The bed was very comfortable after a full day's riding; with clean fresh linen, and clean towels in the bathroom. Everything was just impeccable. In the mornings, a full English breakfast with muffins, pancakes is the order of the day. Totally wicked...would definitely visit them again!"
"This is a nice guesthouse where the furnitures are rustic and the kitchen is HUGE! There is room to hang around the pool. The hosts were very very friendly - we felt at home. The rooms are well equipped and tidy. It is not luxury but very recommendable. Enjoy a great, variegated breakfast with wonderful cakes, muffins, pancakes, cereals, fruits..."
