  "I decided to take a midweek break. It was a stroke of luck that I found this gem. The sea views are just breathtaking. The facility was relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. What I value most is privacy, and I couldnt ask for more.We were well-received and the hosts were very gracious. I will recomend Bed and Breakfast by the sea highly."

  "Sue was extremely welcoming and helpful, pointing out places of interest and recommending local restaurants etc . The accommodation was clean, light and airy with a lovely patio area from where we could view the sea in the distance. Full dstv as well as WiFi were a very nice bonus. The garden cottage is perfect for a couple , has everything one needs .... even tea, coffee, milk and rusks .... thank you Sue, we shall be back."

  "If you are wanting good old fashioned hospitality, a warm and genuine welcome, awesome views, quiet neighborhood, off street parking, free wifi, comfortable beds, fresh flowers in your room, the option to braai in the garden and a breakfast that keeps you going all day, then this is the place for you. The property could do with a little bit of maintenance but that pales into insignificance when you have all the above, including a hostess who respects your privacy but is there if you need anything (including getting meat for our braai!)"

  "This was such a pleasant experience. My family and I were greeted with a friendly hostess and such friendly staff! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning! Although your not next to the sea, you certainly hear it during your entire stay and this has such a calm feel to the place.<br/><br/>The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy and had a real homely feel to it. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The hostess really goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable.<br/><br/>I would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a breakaway with a home-away-from-home feeling, cause they certainly have that."

  "If you want to have a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean, have a peaceful and filling breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean, and a comfortable place to stay, we recommend Bed &amp; Breakfast By the Sea. Though the area was on water restriction, Sue did her best to make our stay comfortable and nice. We had been travelling for a week when we got to her. She offered to do laundry service for us! We had a wonderful time there. It is a bit far from Durban (via a toll road) if you plan to sight-see there, but if you want a relaxing holiday and time by the sea, it's a great place."

  "Our Stay at B&B was most enjoyable. They have one of the best locations in the area, especially if you wish to be close to the sea and plan to explore the surrounding areas. They are also a comfortable distance from the airport and the Durban suburbs which is really convenient. The cottages are equipped with everything one would need and the main cottage that over looks the sea has a stunning view. The hospitality was also great and I found the owners to be most accommodating. Compared to the pricing and location of there competitors I’d say they offer great value for money."
