Charismatic and full of atmosphere, Elizabeth Manor has the soothing feel of the unhurried past.Close to everything - 20 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport, 5 minutes from Sandton City, Wanderers Cricket Grounds, Golf Reef City and central to restaurants, galleries, museums and golf courses - yet so secluded it could well be in the country. The charming, sun dappled walled garden with it's sparkling pool, sun drenched decks and stately trees is the ideal environment to relax and enjoy afternoon tea or a sundowner. Elizabeth Manor has four spacious suites decorated in warm and classical style with a seating area, en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower, adequate cupboard space, television, mini-bar, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. "The welcoming was exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the room was way cozy than expected."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The overall look and feel of the place was peaceful and pleasant."
"I have already left a review of this property, which hosted my grandmother for two evenings. The first night at the establishment was great. Unfortunately I was only told of the issues with the second nights stay later.<div>We had a family function the second night, a Saturday evening. My grandmother was driven back to the guesthouse around 11:30. Unfortunately there was no one available to let her in. After 30-40 minutes of waiting outside the gate, phoning the front desk, hooting, ringing the bells, my parents had to drive my grandmother somewhere else to stay the night, without any of her luggage.</div><div>I have tried to contact the guesthouse to get comment & a partial refund for the night we were not able to use, and there has been no reply. Unacceptable service.</div>"
"We arrived just before dark and were greeted by name at check in. The room was a king bed and it was perfect. Great air con and bathroom. Had a very cool pool/sitting area as well."
"Clean, very inviting reception on arrival, very well located. Super staff.<div>All in all great value for money. Recommended.</div>"
