Seagull Cottage
Seagull Cottage is a rustic self-catering cottage ideal for young-at-heart travelers. Located in the small village of Scarborough, the cottage is ideal for nature lovers and is located an hours drive from Cape Town International Airport.
The rustic cottage has a loft bedroom and a modest kitchen with a bar fridge, stove, cutlery and crockery. The lounge area has comfortable seating which can also be used as alternative sleeping space. The large patio has a hammock ideal for afternoon naps and simply enjoying nature at its best. Guests can also make use of the swimming pool in the garden and harvest vegetables and salad from the organic garden.
The cottage is located just a quick walk from the beach and a popular surfing site, the Table Mountain Nature Reserve and Cape Point are also a short drive away.

It has everything that we required and the hosts were extremely friendly (Including Fifa the dog who</span>adopted<span style="line-height: 1.5;">us for a day on the beach). There are some books and dvd's to keep you busy on the cold days and it is only 5 min walk away from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back again when the opportunity arrises.</span>"

We parked our car on arrival and didn't get in it again until it was time to leave: walked to the beach, walked to the restaurant, walked to the mountain. Wonderful! The hosts are kind, welcoming people, and the cottage is just the right mix of low-key, stylish and comfortable. Highly recommended. <br /><br /><br />"

05 May 2014"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagull cottage. The cottage is very spacious and has everything that one could need, including a great selection of books and magazines! It is a hop and skip to the beach, and has an amazing fireplace ideal for winter evenings. The hospitality of Penny and Mario is delightful, and makes you feel very welcome and at home. We can't wait to come again!"

10 November 2013"Magical place to relax and explore hiking trails and just chilling at the beach that's so close!I expected a very basic beach hut due to the description on the website, but it's well equipped and spacious, e.g. loft sleeping area, microwave, 4-plate gas stove, fridge, fireplace, TV, DVD player and there's also a pool.Only negative is that there's not much privacy as one has to walk past the main house, i.e. the reason why I prefer to stay in self-catering accommodation and not B&B's or hotels."
