El Shadai Guest House Hartbeespoort

El Shadai Guest House is situated in the Magalies Mountains overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam, with magnificent views. El Shadai, meaning "more than enough" is all you need to breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This secure guest house is a modern-style building with large panoramic windows and balconies with glass balustrades. Accommodation consists of four spacious Suites, each with an en-suite bath and separate shower, and quality furniture in a more contemporary style.

Hartbeespoort Dam is less than an hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Known as Harties to the locals, it has become a hive of activity and is a very popular weekend getaway between the two cities.

"We received a warm welcome by Peter and gave us a tour around the house. The breakfast was best for both days. Nice part is that it was different on both days. I would suggest that they give a different welcome basket contents. And if there could be new face cloth provided. It's unhygienic to share that."

"We stayed at El Shaddai for our 12th Wedding Anniversay. Susan was very hospitable and even made special arrangements for me on request with regards to our Anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely consider them as a place to stay again and in actual fact we will be booking there again for when we run the Om Die Dam race. Splendid guesthouse and I would definitely recommend it. Stunning views from the rooms as well."
