Galene

Galene is a self-catering family house situated right on the beach on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, where guests step from the deck straight onto the sand.The house sleeps up to 14 people (ONLY) in seven bedrooms and comprises seven bathrooms, two lounges, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The swimming pool overlooks the ocean and the private beach is great for swimming, fishing, and snorkelling. Please note that if you are a first time guest, a R1000 refundable breakage deposit is payable on check in and will be refunded within 48 hours of departure. Should more than 14 people check in, we reserve the right to ask all guests to leave immediately with no refund payable. No additional visitors are allowed unless permission is granted from either the manager or owner of Galene Beach House.

    "This has to be one of the best spots on the South Coast. Affordable, fully kitted, clean and right on the beach! The owner/manager don't mind loud music at night and were very understanding of our drunken "transgressions"... Didn't see the jacuzzi advertised in the ad, though. Not an issue as the pool and the ocean had us sorted for an amazing weekend. Don't even bother looking further. Book now, because if this place is available, you're lucky."
