• "Walking in the field"

    03 June 2017

"It is a beautiful farm with lots of potential. Unfortunately the accomodation was not up to standard. Ceilings fell from the roof, the roof leaked and it was dirty. However, the surroundings was really beautiful and peaceful. There is a nice braai area where you can relax and look at the stars. Although the accomodation was not what I expected we had a good time."

  • "Not Good"

    01 September 2016

    "1. No directions to accommodation.
2. Bad road. Car underside damaged
3. Mix-up with accommodation. Family re-union with party deep into the night right under our bedroom window. Moved to a filthy flat.
4. Power failure at 04:00. (Escom to blame)
5. No water next morning. Could not wash or shower or brush teeth or make coffee."

  • "Quite farm style retreat"

    09 July 2015

"We had a lovely stay with birds and animals close by. You can take walks on the farm and see wild animals up close. We saw giraffe and different other small animals. Our daughter enjoyed the converted swimming pool. The accommodation is basic but adequate. It could have been cleaner, some areas where not cleaned after the previous people that stayed in the next door unit that shares the common outside areas."

  • "A rustic getaway"

    05 January 2014

"You couldn't ask for a friendlier host than Rita, she was very welcoming of us and our muddy bikes and kit and went over and above what we expected. The unit was well equipped with everything needed for self catering, the place was clean and the whole farm has character. This is a perfect spot for nature adventurers wanting to explore the area or a great stop over place. Loved every minute there!"

  • "Unique"

    09 January 2013

"This is an unique break away for nature lovers! We loved it but our extended family members are city people and they were not prepared sharing their accomodation with nature. The farm dam (swimming pool) was awesome! We will go back for another stay and will recommend it to nature lovers."

  • "Lovely"

  • "Superb overnight stay"

    10 March 2010

"After travelling for the whole day the sight of the farm was appreciated by us and meeting the hostess Rita was very special. Her warm and friendly welcome was just what we needed after a long day. Superb overnight stay in beautiful surroundings - the accommodation was perfect and afforded us a good night's rest. Being out in the middle of nature in part of our history was an experience of its own."
