  "In general every thing is good only the cutlery could be improved. And when travel the ladies need a hear drier. When flying in it is not always possible to carry everything around. And for the price of the room per night I would have expected a hair drier and least 4 plates of each kitchen cutlery that is the same"

  "It's a beautiful place,clean and well decorated.The only problem is the "king sized bed" which is actually 2 single beds pushed together and it's uncomfortable sleeping on it because it keeps moving and leaving a space in between."

  "We had a lovely time at Shaka's seat. We stayed in the Green Room. Jeanette is the sweetest woman and made us feel at home right away. The room was neat, with a lovely balcony overlooking the swimmingpool and views of the ocean. Room was serviced on request. Lovely bathroom with double basins and shower. We could really just relax and enjoy our stay. Security is also very good and appreciated that you had your own parking, for the whole time of your stay. Thank you Shaka's Seat it was worth the money and true to your advertisement of Luxury Accommodation."

  "Accomodation was neat and very comfortable.Nice balcony with great sea view.Road is quite busy but did not bother us.Prices are reasonable too.Enjoyed the communal braai area and nice pool area.The security is good but a bit prison like as you have to keep opening and closing the trellidor to get access to your room.The caretaker was very friendly and attentive to our needs."

  "Our family of 4 stayed in the Garden Cottage for 2 weeks. The fridge in the unit was the size of a bar fridge, which could only store food for 2 days. The unit had no natural sunlight in it, except for perhaps an hour in the bathroom. There was no view of the sea from our unit &amp; there were only 4 spoons, forks, knives &amp; <g class="gr_ gr_12 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="12" data-gr-id="12">teasppons</g>, even though there were 5 dinner plates &amp; many glasses. Also, we had to ask for ovenware to be supplied, so that we could use the oven, as well as a hairdryer &amp; smooth edge knife for cutting vegetables &amp; there was no place in the unit to dry clothes. The mattress on the main bed wasn't great as I bounced every time my husband turned in his sleep. I phoned on the Friday before our arrival to ask 2 questions which we <g class="gr_ gr_18 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="18" data-gr-id="18">needed answered</g> so that we could pack &amp; subsequently left another 2 phone messages on the cell phone number provided (Sandy's) - none of these messages were returned, nor were they acknowledged in any way during 2 weeks of our stay there. Even when I phoned the landline an hour before arrival, the lady who answered &amp; was there later to receive us, couldn't place my name as the person to arrive that day &amp; stay for 2 weeks. While the unit is beautifully decorated &amp; the proximity to the beach is close, be aware that the beach closest to the accommodation isn't suitable for swimming or fishing due to the strong rip currents, but the tidal pool at Shaka's Rock a short walk away has the most incredible <g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" id="13" data-gr-id="13">sealife</g> &amp; Thompson's Beach a short drive away is also very beautiful.<br /><div><br /></div><div>Establishments Response:</div><div><br /></div><div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 13px; vertical-align: baseline; border: 0px; line-height: 16.9px; word-break: normal; word-wrap: break-word; color: #333333; background-color: #fefef0;"><span style="color: navy; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial; vertical-align: baseline; border: 0px;">All guests are informed on arrival that there is a large fridge/freezer for guests' use in the garage and that should guests require anything not in the cottage, to simply ask and it will be provided - which Jacky did quite often. Being glutin intolerant she wanted to bake her own bread, and we don't supply baking tins as most people don't come on holiday to bake. The bed is a Sealy Posturepedic extra length . . .   "Both my kids and I really enjoyed our stay at Shaka's Seat. It was home away from home. We were in a cosy little self catering cottage away from the hotel. ...this gave the boys the freedom to be just be free. The beach was literally across the road....we didn't need a vehicle. Our stay was pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing. Sandy and Dick are wonderful hosts. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and I would definitely go back again."
