"We stayed in the apartments - the Palm Room. We adored this place; right on the beach with views from the bedroom - absolutely wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. Just electric heating so might be a bit cool in winter - but I certainly plan to go back!"

A great and nice room. clean, wide and a beautiful sight over the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay. We saw the wales playing (25). the dolphins and several birds. right before our "doorstep" . The next morning a delicious breakfast. Fora good dinner you could go to The Golfclub (2 minutes drive). We really enjoy our stay. "

"The lodge is situated on the sea with a spectacular view. The quiet west coast atmosphere is creating a relaxed atmosphere and you can walk for miles on the beach. "I stayed at this property for the second time and just fell in love with it all over again.Thank you Luc & Sue for looking after me and my mom so well.I can HIGHLY recommend this guest house if you would like to become one with nature.The dinner that was offered are of the highest quality and standard and with the sunset in the background made this a unforgettable meal.Only stayed for one night, but could easily stayed for a week or two.Once again THANK YOU ! ! ! "I spent a weekend at the Oystercatcher Lodge and it was absolutely amazing. Luc and Sue were born to host....I have no doubt in my mind. From the friendly welcome, the beautiful decor, the 'loud' silence broken only by the sound of the see outside, the delicious breakfast and the Cattle Barron restaurant, it was all just perfect.My weekend stay was therapeutic to my soul and I would recommend the lodge to anyone. I think every South African should visit the lodge at least once, that way we'll have a much calmer society.They deserve more than 4 stars for service alone, so if anyone has a spare star or two kindly send it to Luc and Sue please. "
