St Georges, in the heart of Old Simons Town, is a beautifully restored historic building dating back to 1860. It is situated directly opposite the yacht basin and Jubilee Square which is a venue for craft sellers and colourful street buskers.All the shops you require are within walking distance and there are many fine restaurants, bakeries and delicatessens in and around Simons Town. Cape Town with all her wonderful sights and activities is an easy 40 minutes drive away. There is a range of wonderful beaches with clean sand and clear unpolluted water. Boulders Beach, famous for its resident penguins is close by. For an unusual viewing of these birds, one can take a kayak trip from the yacht basin out into the bay and view the penguins from the water. A short drive takes you to the Cape Point Nature Reserve which offers many scenic trails along the beaches, up the mountains and through the fynbos.The complex offers a laundry with a washing machine and tumble-dryer which may be utilized by guests at a small fee. Bookings are for a minimum of two nights during Low Season and four nights during High Season. In the apartment, you will find many brochures and information on what to do and see in Simons Town, Cape Town, the Wine Route and other areas of interest.

"Charmant mais pas pratique"
07 January 2016"C'est trs bien situ au cur de la rue historique se Simon's Town. Laccueil est trs chaleureux avec des attentions dlicates(fleurs, fruits, chocolats). Toutes les informations sur les choses faire et voir nous ont t donnes par David qui a fait tout son possible pour nous rendre le sjour agrable..<br />La chambre est bien dcore et le lit de tout confort.<br />Mais: la salle d'eau qui s'apparente plus un couloir de 80 cm ne permet pas cet endroit d'tre utilis par des personnes en lger surpoids ou par des couples dont l'intimit n'est pas avre (odeurs et bruits incongrus)....La terrasse et le braii ne sont pas privatifs mais partager avec le locataire permanent.Le coin cuisine est trs petit avec un rchaud qu'on doit sortir chaque utilisation.En rsum mon titre: Charmant mais pas pratique.Conviendrait mieux une personne seule ou quelqu'un qui ne veut pas faire de cuisine.<br />"

"Great apartment"
15 January 2014"The apartment at St George's was exactly what we were looking for. It was very well maintained and had all the facilities you needed for an enjoyable stay. Perfect for two couples (like us) or for a family. We had a wonderful time using the apartment as a base to explore the Western Cape region. Parking a little confusing at first, but once you get into the swing of it, it is no hassle at all. Perhaps a few notes in the apartment might help (eg: where the rubbish bins are) but otherwise no complaints or problems at all. Would highly recommend this apartment as it was well above the standard we were expecting for the money."
