Sondel Beach House

Sondel Beach House, providing excellent holiday accommodation for discerning families for over 12 years, is a 5-bedroom luxury holiday home in Plettenberg Bay, sleeping ten persons, tastefully decorated and situated a mere 160 meters from Solar Beach, Robberg.

This stretch of coast line falls along South Africas splendid Garden Route, offering discerning visitors a holiday of peace, beauty and comfort.

Enjoy the sea views, the Tsitsikama Mountain panorama and listen to the waves crash against the shoreline.

The beach can be reached directly from the house along a wooden boardwalk which opens up to a breathtaking 5km stretch of fine golden sand and numerous safe swimming beaches. Views run across the bay with the historically rich Robberg Peninsula to the right and to the left the Tstitsikama Mountain vista.

Accommodation comprises five en-suite double bedrooms with fine finishes, open-plan entertainment areas, barbecue facilities and a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool. The house is tiled throughout other than the bedrooms that are carpeted.

No smoking is permitted in the entire house and no pets are allowed. The home is not available for any function of whatever description. The home and its facilities are occupied and used entirely at the tenant's and his/her guest's own risk.

During the December peak season the minimum stay is 2 weeks. However these two weeks may not straddle both Christmas and New year. If these two dates are to be included the minimum stay is 3 weeks.

A refundable deposit of R 7 500 is called for to be paid together with the second payment due 14 days prior to the arrival date. This deposit covers breakages, damages, departure cleaning and excessive electricty consumption that is greater than 100 Kw per day. The residue of this deposit is refundable within 14 days after the departure clean and assessment.

While the cancellation policy is friendly, requiring 7 days notice for a 100% booking deposit refund, this does not apply to the Peak December Season where 60 days prior to the intended date of arrival notice of cancellation is required for a 100% deposit refund and 21 days for a 50% deposit refund.
