This well-appointed accommodation is nestled under a huge old fig tree and aptly named. Figtree Lodge is renowned as one of the quaintest establishments in the area, exuding an air of bygone simplicity and elegance with the distant crash of the ocean and its cool breeze as a neighbour.
This delightful upstairs accommodation has individual character and a homely charm. Sleeping six guests, it is ideal for family holidays, or group of friends who appreciate refinement and good living.
After an event-filled day, building up a healthy appetite by exploring the towns many nooks and crannies, one can rustle up a favorite meal in the well-stocked kitchen. Balmy evenings are well spent sipping sundowners on the sheltered wooden deck that overlook the pool and out towards the country.
The area of Southbroom is well known for its excellent golf courses, beautiful bay, surf and warm waters; a true jewel of the South Coast.

23 March 2006"We enjoyed our time at Fig Tree Lodge. The accomodation is well appionted with more than enough space for our 2 boys aged 5 and 6. The boys loved the big garden and swimming pool, and the easy access to Granny's Pool on the beach which was their favourite spot. While it is a short walk to the beach - the walk back is up a steep hill, so we found it easier to drive.It was a pleasure having Carolyn to service the accomodation."
