  "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can fault anything. Helpful staff, good food and pleasant rooms. The view from the room was a plus. If I may make one comment. The logo was not very clear. After looking at it in detail I realised it was a daisy flower, from a distance it is not clear."

  "We really enjoyed our stay. The room (called Merlyn) was enormous and completely open plan with lovely decor and the different areas (e.g. dressing area, bath, shower areas) on different levels.The only thing that was missing was a door on the toilet (it was behind a partition wall) but we devised songs to sing!<br />'Chris' the rea in the field behind the complex was a bonus, if not a little too inquisitive if you entered his territory!<br />The restaurant turns out to be probably the best in the area, as they are very few and far between in Springbok.<br />Overall a great place to stay.<br />"

  "We had a short but excellent stay at Daisy cottage - even though it was off-season, we were warmly welcomed and given a lovely room with all the amenities we could want. We had a tasty meal at the attached restaurant (which they specially opened for us) and were given a lovely packed breakfast as we wanted to start our journey early the following day. We would happily recommend Daisy Cottage again and look forward to visiting again soon."

  "We had a lovely stay at Daisy Country Lodge, a stopover on our tour up the West Coast.Our room was clean and well appointed with its own patio under the acacia trees.The location was very quiet and far from the main road. The evening meal was wholesome and tasty and the breakfast had a vast selection of items form fresh fruit to cereals and a cooked variety of eggs, vegetables and meats. This Lodge is well worth a visit."

  "The style of this place is a bit like a mini-resort, but set on a small farm. Nice restaurant, with the biggest fireplace I've ever seen. Really good food. Wonderful wildflowers on-site, and great place to explore, including a rocky koppie with fantastic views. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative was that my room was away from the main section and I had to walk in the dark - not too much of a problem, as the property is secluded but open."

We were travelling on a motorcycle and the last strech was gravel road and Rita took it upon herself to meet us at the start of the gravel road, how considerate of her! She also arranged a special tour for us to view the flowers...wow! It was a real pleasure to stay over at your lodge and will strongly recommend Daisy Country Lodge to the motorcycle community. Thanks so much!"

  "We had a wonderful stay on our way from Cape Town to Namibia. The lodge is most comfortable, the staff are charming, the food is excellent and the animals are friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend it. Our only complaint is that our programme did not permit us a stay of more than one night."

We will definitely stay there again and Daisy C L comes highly recommended as the one place to stay when in Namaqualand. The only pity is that we could not stay longer in such a relaxing environment."
