  "Our recent visit to Naries was an absolute delight. We stayed in one of the Mountain Suites, perched on a ridge about a kilometer from the manor house. Blissfully quiet, the well-equipped and comfortably furnished interior cleverly incorporates a massive hillside boulder. The night sky is breathtaking - a must for stargazers. Meals (provided in the manor house), presentation and service were excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. On arrival we were ushered into the lounge and offered a very welcome cup of tea. The lounge itself has big comfortable couches with botanical, bird and travel books close to hand, as well as a cosy wood-burning stove. We tackled two of the hiking trails, well-marked and maintained and mostly easy going. Given the poor rains, the variety of wild flowers in bloom was quite astonishing. Naries is a jewel, and like the Terminator, We Will Be Back!"

  "After a long and dusty road on a very hot day we arrived at the Naries and were immediately welcomed into the homey living room for a cup of coffee with a delicious cookie. This made us feel like coming home.The mountain suite was an outstanding experience! Complete quietness and sparkling stars, what a view from up there at sunset and sunrise!We were served an excellent dinner and breakfast, deliciously cooked and prepared with love."

  "When we arrived there our toilet did not work. No water flowing into the toilet. They did sort out the problem very quickly. Our bed also had silverfish or fishmoths in it. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and the location is stunning and very beautiful."

The accommodation was very comfortable and roomy, and we liked that we had a shower and bath to choose between. The breakfast was lovely with substantial continental and cooked options depending on your preference."

  "I really enjoyed my stay at Naries. We stayed in a selfcatering house. It was big and very well stocked with utensils etc. The little personal touches (flowers in the bathroom basin etc) was welcoming indeed. The trials were well marked and easy to follow. I felt save and pampered. Although it is 27 km from Springbok it was worth the drive."

  "We enjoyed our stay at Naries.The Powerhouse room we stayed in was well equipped and very comfortable.We had dinner in the diningroom at the main building and were treated like royalty.The food,both dinner and breakfast was delicious, well prepared and presented.We want to thank the staff, Lien in particular for their hospitality.When we are in the Springbok area again we will most certainly stay at Naries again and will not hesitate to recommend the establishment to friends and family.One negative comment is that the reservation office told us that we could not make use of the dining facilities because we stayed in the self catering units, but upon our arrival we were told that this was not the case.The reason for this is that the reservation office is situated in Cape Town and isnot familiar with the arrangements regarding the dining facilities."
