  "We stayed over for one night on our way home after visiting Namibia. Aida welcomed us to the accommodation, which was a characterful house with a great location (peaceful area, yet close enough to the road heading towards the N7). We were impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was for load-shedding - all the necessary electrical appliances were available, with a neat gas stove as well. All the beds had electrical blankets! The TV had most DSTV channels. And the building is in a well maintained condition. Thank you - great value for money!"

  "Nestled on the hills in springbok, this guesthouse reminisces of times gone by, it's steeped in history, with relics of the past adorning the walls and rooms of this antique styled guest house. Rita the host is charming in her own historic way with family roots well entrenched into the past. Definitely worth a visit."

  "Our party had two en-suite rooms during the flower season: smallish but cosy, clean and very comfortable. Each room had a refrigerator, kettle and tea/coffee facilities while the remaining self-catering facilities were communal (and comprehensive). There was also a communal lounge area as well as tables and chairs outside. All-in-all very comfortable and highly recommended. We would stay there again."

  "Definitely not what the photos portray. The Guest house is run down and dirty. Our room smelt of cat urine. when we told the owner she said that previous "tenants" had a stray cat. The room stank, it was unclean and stuffed with old furniture. Our bathroom towels were damp, this is not a guest house, it is a garage or servants quarters that have been turned into a bedroom and lounge, it is in dire need of cleaning and paint. would definitely not recommend"

  "We were warmly received in a very cold night. Electric blankets, extra other blankets and a heater in the unit soon made any cold outside just a memory. The rooms were cozy, the bedding fresh and clean. Bathroom and kitchen facilities adequate. I am just sorry we only stayed overnight. It was clear the unit could easily accommodate one for a few days of self-catering. I thoroughly recommend this cottage."

  "Lovely owners and cottage has everyting you would need. Just one complaint and that is that the airconditioner is not a airconditioner but an aircooler - that is a bit of a problem in the summer when temperatures are very high. I would suggest they install proper airconditioning. The rest was stunning"

  "We came to Springbok to see the daisies. I found Rendezvous on the net and booked with a deposit in June. When we arrived we were directed to the house on the hill. It was a nice family room and we were satisfied. We were a bit disappointed because there was not enough water and hardly any hot water. The manageress brought us drinking water and opened the borehole. It was ok, we just had to shower quickly. Otherwise we had a good stay and saw beautifull flowers. Thanks."
