Springbok Apartment

This is a beautiful and comfortable apartment situated in Springbok, in the heart of Namaqualand and within spitting distance of other typical Namaqualand towns such as Alexander Bay, Pofadder, Garies, Kleinzee and Port Nolloth.

The apartment consists of two spacious bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan living area with DStv and a patio. Braai facilities are available on request and there is safe parking.

Springbok is ideal as a stopover en route to Namibia and has its repute as the flower capital of Namaqualand. The attractive town of Springbok is formed around a central hill, known by locals as Klipkoppie or Stone Hill. It was used by the Boers during the Second Boer War as a fort for its incredible vantage point. Views from here across the valley are beautiful, as are the examples of flowers during spring every year that not only blossom on the little hill, but in the surrounding scrubland as well.

"Springbok apartments was a convenient and comfortable place for a one night stay. Apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor is very quirky and you can tell someone has put a lot of time and effort into it which makes a difference. The receptionist was very helpful and assisted us in arranging a dinner reservation. "

"We stayed at Springbok Apartments for two nights. I would recommend an overnight stay here only as it is very small and has a tiny outside area which is not shaded or private. The kitchenette was inadequate for preparing meals and the fridge barely worked. The freezer section was also totally inadequate. Pity because the service was friendly and pleasant and the linen and bed great!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and clean everything you need is there. Rooms spacious and beautifully decorated. Bathroom stunning, gorgeous and cozy braai room. The garden shows a special touch and is really lovely. I give it five stars a full ten out of ten! The only very small detail, if I have to crit something would be rooibos tea and nicer coffee but those are really not a big issue"
