Elephant Coast Guesthouse St Lucia

The Elephant Coast Guesthouse is situated in the town of St. Lucia, gateway to iSimangaliso (the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park), which was listed as South Africa's first World Heritage Site in December 1999 in recognition of its unique global values. The Guesthouse is set amidst a subtropical garden neighbouring the St. Lucia Nature Reserve where the forest trees reflects on a luxurious swimming pool. It has been given four star grading by the South African Tourism Grading Council.

All the elegantly furnished rooms are decorated in a modern African Style. Double rooms, Twin or Triple rooms and Family units are available. The air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms (bath and shower), tea/coffee making facilities, small fridges, hairdryers, clock radios, toiletries/bathroom amenities have outside doors opening onto a terrace.

A delicious Buffet spread Breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the garden. Lunch and Dinner are not a problem as St. Lucia boasts with a variety of restaurants, most in walking distance from the guesthouse

The Elephant Coast Guesthouse also owns a 4x4 Safari Vehicle with which guests, at special rates can go and experience an unforgettable excursion to the Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve, half or full day & for the young at heart a game drive through the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park and a picnic at Cape Vidal Beach where you can swim and snorkel. "From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. A beautiful house with lush gardens and a big patio where the excellent breakfast was served. In our spacious room with bath and shower, we also had a choice of wine and cold drinks, and a large balcony overlooking the pool. I wish we had stayed longer to really relax and enjoy St Lucia and the Elephant Coast Guesthouse to its full. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we will definitely be back!"

"We were welcomed and made to feel special from the moment we arrived. As a family of 5 we had effectively a 2 bedroom apartment, with a large sitting room and bathroom. It had only the week before been completely re-decorated and was in an excellent condition and lovely design, it was kept wonderfully clean throughout our stay. Also the attention to detail was for our assistance and comfort was of the very highest order. the public rooms, pool and garden also first class. Breakfast also very good. We would not hesitate to recommend this as a wonderful place to stay for those visiting St Lucia"
