"My husband and I stayed at Elephant Lake Hotel for a week during December. We looked at a few places, but decided to stay here even thought it was more expensive than some of the other places because we enjoy a holiday in a hotel. I was very disappointed. The rooms were clean, however the hotel was very noisy (noise started at 6 in the morning already with staff coming past our room and shouting at the top of their voices) and the service was aweful (I'm referring to the room service and the restaurant and bar service). When I am paying nearly R1500.00 per night I expect better service. The hotel will not see me again. Sorry to say."

"St Lucia was absolutely beautiful. However the hotel a disapointment. Most of the staff are excellent but a few let the rest down. The hotel infrastructure needs some investment like painting the pool, repairing the cracked tiles in the bedrooms, putting fridges and baths in family rooms to name just a few. Unfortunately the hotel really needs to review its' pricing policy as it is far too expensive for the product it offers. As I said at the outset, St Lucia is beautiful and we will be back just no to this hotel."

"This holiday reservation was a perfect setting for an end to our vacation.<br/>We had over-seas visitors, who had shared a 3 weeks holiday with us.<br/>From the initial first 2 days where we stayed at home in Johannesburg, we then had 4 days Zambia (Vic. Falls) 5 days Kruger park. Then the final days at your Elephant Lake Hotel, they then travelled on to Dubai, we returned home. The position of the Hotel was perfect. St. Lucia we found to be an excellent venue for beach / fishing / game viewing, and the boat trip was a wonder.<br/>I had previously been to St. Lucia with my son at another venue, but having stayed at your hotel, I would certainly recommend to anyone both for food / location."
