  "I did not like the place. We had to pay breakage fee whick we did not know about it but atleastit was returned on check out. We did not have aircon because we had to pay extra 50 rands for it. We were 4 people but we only got 2 towels and 1 toilet roll for the duration on of our stay. towels not bieng changed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are up the stairs so the kids had to go up and down the steps all the time and i was worried they might miss the step and get get hurt especially my 3 year old but thank God nothing bad happened. on check out we had to wait while the cleaner check if we didnt steal anything. The window on top of the door could not close. when we requested assistance i was told to tell my husband to fix it because therewas no one around. My husband had to get screw drivers and tools from the car to fix the window which i didnt think it was fair."

  "<p>We generally enjoyed our stay at Flamingo Holiday Flats but were very disappointed that we were asked to pay R50 extra to have the air con activated. The advert was misleading in this regard. Also we were under the impression that both rooms would have air con as the advert did not specify that there would only be air con in one room.</p>"

  "The flat was clean and comfortable. However, with the location on the main road, the evening and early morning noise was disturbing. On arrival there was a power failure and we were advised to buy candles (all other places provide candles!). The shower curtain was ineffective and should be replaced with a door. The noisy, ineffective ceiling fan should be replaced with air conditioning since the windows cannot be left open because of monkeys. Having a cleaner sit at reception one morning was not good for marketing. The flat was serviced daily and the braai was cleaned - much appreciated."

  "The reception was very friendly and professionally done. Disappointment to be so close to the main street as I anticipated it otherwise.Kitchen well equipped and rooms neat and clean.Really missed having more DSTV channels at night as the weather was not good (no one's fault!)."

  "We only stayed a couple of nights, but it was our second stay at Flamingo and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great location, easy walking to everything, clean and well equipped, and we even walked home one night behind a hippo wandering down the road! Would recommend!"

  "Very clean and large flats. Remember to bring own soap, shampoo, food, etc. Only towels and bed sheets are provided. Safe location and many restaurants near by. Recommend brazaa or even better the restaurant next to the gas station. People sitting on the terrace. I think its called turf and dive or similar."

  "For the money the unit was good value I do however think that in the summer months an air conditioning unit in the main bedroom would be very welcome for guests also the bathroom and shower unit could be smartened up. All in all I would definitely stay there again."

  "The reception was polite and very helpful.I would have like to be informed that there were no towels.I would like the flat checked before arrival for malfunctions, as one lightbulb wasnt working and there were no beside lamps, which was a bit of a pain. Otherwise the flat was clean and well equiped"
