  "We had a wonderful stay at lodge afrique. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and secluded. The lodge helped us arrange safari tours, and helped us accommodate additional family members at a nearby sister lodge. We loved St Lucia especially the beach and the restaurants downtown."

  "We have just enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable Easter (2012) at Lodge Afrique. The rooms are well equipped and attractively decorated. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained. The manager, Robyn, is excellent and very attentive; she helped us with all our questions on the area. The breakfast is great with a good choice of food. We would definitely recommend Lodge Afrique."

  "The chalet and cleanliness is 5 Star, as well as the staff and our host, Robyn. The breakfast was delicious, especially the unexpected treats of Xmas mince pies and yummy chocolate muffins. The security and parking was excellent. The only thing I would suggest, to make an improvement, is to install a bar fridge in the chalet due to the fact that it is a B&B only. It would be ideal to keep snacks, drinks and braai packs refrigerated."

Our stay at Lodge Afrique, perhaps the best lodge in St Lucia, made the experience even more special. The friendly and welcoming staff, lovely breakfasts and tropical African atmosphere created by the lodge's design made it a place you never wanted to leave; except maybe for a trip to the beach. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to all at Lodge Afrique for making our stay so memorable."

  "We spent four days in Lodge Afrique and had a wonderful time there. The rondavel is beautiful decorated and has everything. Although the garden is small, it is very lush and green and gives you the feeling of being in a tropical wood. The host, Robyn, is a fantastic lady. She really is interested in her guests and does her utmost to make your stay in Lodge Afrique an unforgettable one. We do recommend this place."

  "We stayed at Lodge Afrique for three nights and we found the accommodation to be absolutely exquisite. It is decorated in true African style and the hospitality offered by both Robyn and Jill was out of this world. Their knowledge of Durban and the surrounding areas is extremely helpful to any traveller. The breakfast offered was lovely, with a bit of everything, and they truly go out of their way to accommodate your every need. I would highly recommend Lodge Afrique to anybody wishing to stay in St Lucia."

  "The place is as marvelous as it appears on the website,it was really value for money, the staff (cleaning and gardening) are very friendly throughout. However we had a misunderstanding with the owner/manager over water but the manner in which we were approached was with arrogance, rude and unprofessional. We were travelling as a group but booked in different places and our friends were chased away and were told that they are not welcome. Nevertheless we were not detoured from enjoying our holiday."
