Stonehouse Lodge

Stonehouse Lodge is a charming house on the Goukou River, combining the rustic elements of stone with modern finishings. The house sleeps 11 people and is ideal for a large family or a group travelling together.

The house has two downstairs bedrooms and two upstairs bedrooms. There is one full bathroom shared with a shower and a shower toilet and basin and separate guest loo. Upstairs there is a play area with a table tennis table as well as a pool table.

An open-plan lounge and dining area has a large fireplace, a TV with DStv and a DVD player. There is eight-seater dining room table. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a kettle, crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils. To add to your convenience, there is a washing machine and a dishwasher.

Outside is a large wrap-around veranda with an under-cover braai area. The lodge comes with a private jetty and slipways for those wanting to bring a boat. Outside is a trampoline for children to enjoy. There are two under-cover parking bays.

The river is ideal for boating, swimming and water skiing. The section of river in front of the house is deep enough that guests can water ski in both high and low tide. The lodge has a private dam for bass fishing on a catch-and-release basis.
