Urheim & Friedensheim

Urheim & Friedensheim is located in the town of Stilbaai and offers guests the experience of how holidays were in Stilbaai 100 years ago.

The cottages were rebuilt close to the historic Jagersbosch homestead and each has a kitchen that is equipped with a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, cutlery and crockery. Each cottage also has a private bathroom with a shower, as well as a lounge and a patio with braai facilities.

Urheim is suitable for two guests or two adults and three children. It offers a comfortable double bed and single beds. Friedensheim is ideal for two people and it offers a double bed. The cottages are in a quiet area and they are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the river and a nature reserve.

Stilbaai offers safe bathing, angling, wind- and kitesurfing, sailing and canoeing. Soete Inval Botanical Garden in Melkhoutfontein offers guests the chance to see fynbos species from around the province. The village also has a unique species of eels, which are fed by hand. There are various hiking trails such as the Noordkapper Hiking Trail which follows the coastline to Jongensfontein; the West Bank Route which is excellent trail for birdwatching; the Pauline Bohnen Route and the Lappiesbaai Beach Route which is great for whale watching in season.
