Anglers Paradise is situated in the Eastern Cape, on the fabled Garden Route, with beauty on all sides. To the south there is 900 m of private unspoiled coastline, and to the north are the spectacular Tsitsikamma Mountains.
Just 14 km from Anglers Paradise you can access the famed Karoo via the well-known R62 Wine Route, and a mere 50 km away you will find the Tsitsikamma National Park and the Storms River Mouth, where you can enjoy more vigorous activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and bungee jumping.
Anglers Paradise offers a personal touch, with magnificent views of the coast, and is arguably situated on the most impressive and privately owned coastal site in the Tsitsikamma. The two houses have unfettered vistas of the wild ocean and are surrounded by forested kloofs, fynbos, pastures, and mountains. Anglers Paradise is extremely private and tranquil, with no other developments within a 25 km radius, excluding rural farming facilities.
The two houses are luxuriously appointed with newly refurbished kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The open-plan living and dining areas compliment the relaxed laidback atmosphere, and the cook on duty will enjoy endless sea views from the fully-appointed kitchens. A separate washroom is fully-equipped with a washing machine, dryer, iron, and iron board. Linen, bath towels, and blankets are provided.
There is a choice of a fireplace in the one house, or an indoor braai in the other house, and while on holiday there is no need to miss out on sport or perhaps a favourite programme, as a full DStv bouquet is available. A home executive also services the houses on request.
With seven private bass dams, you can be sure of a good days fly-fishing the ultimate freshwater fishing experience. Your fishing experience can further be enhanced with sea fishing and rock-angling from the unspoiled coastline on your front door, or deep-sea fishing launching from the nearby world-famous Cape St Francis Bay.
For the not-so-active among us, whale-watching is a firm favourite, with dolphins and other mammals vying for your attention. Settling down for the evening will afford you with unencumbered ocean vistas, catering for the discerning photographer.
Should you be interested in other activities, you can sunbathe on the sheltered private beach, or swim in the beautiful rock pools. There are also several walks and trails to explore, which include a walk to the river in the kloof adjacent to Anglers Paradise, or a walk along the rocks where one can have excellent sightings of not only dolphins and whales, but also of the resident Cape Clawless Otter.
Guests will also have access to miles of quiet rolling farm roads which are ideal for mountain bikers.
"Prachtig uitzicht Zeer vriendelijke gastheerLeuke plek om te vissen, wandelen, walvissen kijken"
"The position of the house is fantastic, absolutely quiet"
"Good & peaceful place for relaxing, we stayed at unit one with my 4 friends. I would give a 4 star due to road condition which is about 9km gravel extending an arrival time with 40min. Cellphone signal is not available in the house we had to go outside to make phone calls."
"We have a nice stay except for the fireplace that kept pushing smoke into the living area and the outside braai was rusted and braai grid falling apart. View is beautiful"
"What a stunning setting.<div>Would have preferred house 2 .we found our a bit small with a few problems.</div><div>Noel was great. Always there to help.</div><div>Amazing private beach.</div><div>Sand road not good on the car. The first 3kl being the worst.</div>"
"<p>We occupied house 1 and 2 which were situated right next to each other, for 9 days. We were a group of4 couples and 2 little girls and found the accommodation to be very modern, clean and comfortable with sufficientgadgets and facilities for manymeals enjoyed there. The views of the ocean, sunrises, sunsets and the galaxy were spectacular. </p><p>The many bass dams on the property produced some exciting catcheswhen the anglers weren't fishing off the rocks below. The venue is close to some amazing sightseeing destinations such as theBigTree, the Protea Farm, Tsitsikamma Forest, Storms River Village and the many interesting little pubs, coffee shops, farm stalls and restaurants in the nearby Kareedouw village.</p><p> </p>"
"We give four stars instead of five only because of the 10 km dust road to arrive at Angler's Paradise which is difficult if you do not have a 4x4 car. For the rest we give four stars."
"Angler's Paradise is a beautiful place, very quiet and with an overwhelming view on the Ocean. Decor and comfort are pleasant. Mr and Mrs Scott are very helpful and concerned. The dust road which leads to this place is a bit difficult if you drive a rented car which is not a 4X4."
"Absolutely gorgeous! Accommodation is spotless, stylish, welcoming and warm and the position is incredible. Wandering down to the private rock pool is a must. Thank you for a rejuvenating weekend. We will definitely be back."
"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house in the most stunning setting - our only regret was that we didn't stay longer! Will certainly recommend to others. It was gorgeous, thank you."
"Lovely setting and friendly hosts. We will be back for a longer stay."

"Thank you so much for your kind caring of my family. We really enjoyed the time in the lovely house and it has become a memorable time in our lives. Thanks once again and hope to see you in future."
"This is a very lovely place. More impressive in reality than in the pictures. It is ideal for those who want to get away to absolutely nothing. A beautiful view and a great big fire to keep you company whilst you do, well, nothing."
