  "We didn't know what to expect but it surpassed whatever we were hoping for. Every need is catered for.... Wood for the fireplace, for the Weber, board games, sound system, DSTV, exceptionally well equipped kitchen with quality crockery, cutlery etc. Good quality mattresses and bedding. (Needed a hand towel or two) Everything was beautifully clean and in good condition."

  "Thank you, it was absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and immediately fell in love when we descended to the house on arrival. The house is beautiful, well maintained (especially for a house so close to the sea) and have a welcoming, homely feeling. We were friendly greeted and showed around on arrival with privacy until our departure. I need to add you have wonderful caretakers, friendly, well maintained and in love with the environment themselves. Recommendation:A few hammocks on the stoep might add some more relaxing pleasure from where the whales and dolphins can be enjoyed. It was great to find binoculars on the shelf - thanks! (..and removing the television with a view like that - I do not like a television, but it didn't bother us).We have recommended Bishops Cove to a lot of people already and will continue as it was indescribably. We will visit soon with the rest of the family."

  "We had the most memorable holiday at Bishops Cove. Joe, the dog, is one of the best tour guides who made us laugh. He is completely adorable and we miss him very much. The setting, scenery and bird life is breath taking. The cottage was lovely, clean, quiet and suited our needs perfectly. Ed and Sal, the caretakers, were friendly, hospitable and helpful. They are wonderful people and made us feel like we've been friends for years. They have so much information and stories about the area, they were invaluable and truly an asset to Bishop's Cove. We had amazing hikes around the cottage and wonderful swims in the Periwinkle pool with Joe. Ed, Sal and Joe, it would not have been the same without you. Thank you."

  "Wonderful setting with stunning views. However need to travel about 30 minutes on gravel road to get there. Cell phone and internet reception poor. But definitely worthwhile getaway if the above does not bother you."

  "Easily one of the best and most remote places on earth. Yet still easy enough to get to without too much trouble.<div>The dirt roads are fun after a heavy rain but that adds to the adventure. Don't let it deter you as it really isn't too far and the pay off is a beautiful totally equipped chalet with all the things you need to have the best time. The walk back up from the beach can be strenuous for anyone that isn't used to using their legs :D But what a treat that beach is!</div>"

  "We stayed at Bishops Cove from 17 to 21st April 2015 and was blown away by the hospitality and breath taking views. We were very fortunate to have stayed in the Main house and can recommend this for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Ed and Sally are amazing people and know just how to handle the guests at Bishops Cove. We arrived as holiday guests and left as friends. Will definitely be back!!"

  "On the way to the lodge we were scared of what to expect as the road was not as smooth. However, as soon as we drove past the airfield - here the secret paradise lay. Extremely cosy and charming houses stood in the infinity of the view of the ocean.<div style="outline-width: 0px;">Home like welcomeness of the hosts and the warm smell of hospitality were in the air.</div><div style="outline-width: 0px;">With the magnificent view from the terrace, there is a opportunity for the keen ones to go for a long spectacular walk and even take a swim in the ocean. As an alternative to adventurous activities the numerous books and atlases are available to explore the country. <span style="line-height: 1.5;">With a great pleasure we would be back as soon as possible! Ideal getaway for anyone seeking the supremacy of the nature and a breakaway from everyday worries.</span></div>"

  "The main house with its spectacular views is stunning. Pictures do not do justice to the place. The kitchen was well equipped so one can cook to your hearts content. The walking trails are quite steep however Joe the local "guide" dog is very eager to show you the way. Bishops Cove is secluded and well hidden away, the best place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thanks to Ed and Sally for the warm welcome and your hospitality, we hope to visit Bishops Cove again in future."
