Our characterful, rustic brick and thatch garden rondavels offer a more basic, beat-the-budget option. They share a separate communal kitchen, dining and lounge area with a DVD player. This area has a covered stoep and a portable braai.
Driftwood is the larger rondavel and can sleep two or three people. It offers a double bed, a single bed and a small sitting area, all in one room. There is an en-suite shower. This is the more comfortable and spacious rondavel option suiting longer stays and more mature guests.
Driftsand is the smaller rondavel with comfortable twin beds and an en-suite shower and toilet. This cosy and comfortable rondavel sleeps a maximum of two guests. It is great for a budget break, overnight stay and for the single traveller.
"Too basic and too expensive"
"Pleasant place to stay. The bed had a plastic mattress protector which was not very nice. Made very welcome and room was clean. Only DVD to watch which as we had not seen was fine. No TV reception."
"All that I needed. Will be back."
"Had a good stay. Kitty was very hospitable and more than accommodating in assisting us to have a pleasant stay."
"The stay at Serenity was really good. It was the most relaxed part of our holiday and Storms River was a great place to be. We did lots and still felt relaxed. Thanks to Kitty!"
